Counseling is a great tool for learning more about yourself and the way you respond to different situations. Counseling can help you formulate a plan for getting unstuck or it can simply be a time for you to have a voice and be heard.
For issues like depression and anxiety, research shows that counseling, in addition to medication, is more effective than medication alone. If you are under a physicians care, we are happy to coordinate services in order to provide seamless treatment.

Family counseling, also referred to as couple and family therapy and family systems therapy, is a branch of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members. It emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological health.
In addition to our professional counseling services we also offer pastoral counseling and nutritional coaching through our 501c3 affiliate Chrysalis Institute Ministries. Pastoral services are performed from a non-denominational approach. For those with a military background you can liken these services to the role of Chaplin in the United States military. What this means is regardless of your religious or spiritual beliefs we are respectful of your right to approach the care and feeding of your soul in your own way. Our belief is that each of us has our own unique spiritual path in this life.
